Reduced VAT Rates on Fuels

The Minister of Finance and Economy has published a regulation that reduces the VAT rate on fuels from 23% to 8%. This reduced rate will apply to the supply, intra-community acquisition, and import of gasoline, diesel oil, and bio-components from August 17 to August 31, 2026.
