The European Commission has published Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/1022, amending the previous regulation regarding temporary customs duties of 3 EUR for low-value imports. This regulation, effective from April 30, 2026, applies to goods with a real value not exceeding 150 EUR.

The new EU regulation (EU) 2024/1157 mandates the use of the DIWASS (Digital Waste Shipment System) for cross-border waste transport starting May 21, 2026. This system will facilitate the electronic transmission of information and documents required for legal waste transport procedures. However, the obligation to use DIWASS for certain procedures has been postponed until December 31, 2026.

On June 10, 2026, the European Commission's implementing regulation (EU) 2026/1203 came into effect, imposing definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of certain woven or stitched glass fiber materials from the People's Republic of China and the Arab Republic of Egypt. Starting July 1, 2026, the Urząd Skarbowy Kraków-Nowa Huta will be the sole tax office responsible for excise duties in the Małopolskie Voivodeship, replacing the current offices in Kraków-Nowa Huta and Nowy Sącz. Entities registered in the Central Register of Excise Tax Entities that indicated the Nowy Sącz office will be automatically reassigned to the Kraków-Nowa Huta office.
