2026-07-06 Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/1022 and update of the Q&A document to the European Commission Guidelines on the application of temporary customs duties of 3 EUR for low-value imports

The European Commission has published Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/1022, amending the previous regulation regarding temporary customs duties of 3 EUR for low-value imports. This regulation, effective from April 30, 2026, applies to goods with a real value not exceeding 150 EUR.

Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/1022 was published in the Official Journal of the EU on July 6, 2026.
The regulation modifies Delegated Regulation (EU) 2015/2446.
The temporary customs duty of 3 EUR applies to distance sales of goods imported in shipments valued at 150 EUR or less.
The European Commission also released an updated Q&A document regarding the application of this temporary duty.
