The publication of documents regarding the implementation of a temporary customs duty of 3 EUR for distance sales has been announced. This duty applies to goods imported in shipments with a real value not exceeding 150 EUR.

Documents published include FAQs for AIS/e-COMMERCE and AIS/IMPORT PLUS.
The European Commission's implementing regulation (EU) 2026/1200 was published on June 5, 2026.
Guidelines for member states and entrepreneurs on applying the 3 EUR customs duty have also been released.
