Implementation of Phase 6 of the NCTS System in Poland and Ukraine's Readiness

Poland is preparing for the operational entry of Ukraine into phase 6 of the NCTS (New Computerized Transit System) starting June 18, 2026. Until then, Poland will continue to operate under phase 5 of the NCTS, with specific customs procedures at the border with Ukraine.

Operational date: June 18, 2026, for Ukraine's entry into phase 6 of NCTS.
Poland's current phase: Phase 5 of NCTS until operational entry.
Customs procedures: Transit declarations will follow phase 5 specifications.
Security data: If present, risk will be managed in AIS/ICS2 without a separate PDS submission.
No security data: A separate PDS must be submitted to ICS2.
