On June 25, 2026, the European Commission's regulation (EU) 2026/1373 came into effect, imposing a definitive anti-dumping duty and confirming the collection of a temporary duty on the import of 1,4-butanediol from the People's Republic of China, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the United States of America.
