2026-07-03 Preferences - Import of Goods from the United States of America

The Ministry of Finance's Customs Department announces that as of July 1, 2026, the European Parliament and Council Regulation (EU) 2026/1455, dated June 25, 2026, introduces preferential customs rates for the import of certain goods from the United States of America.

• The regulation applies to specific goods imported from the USA.
• Goods' origin must be established according to non-preferential rules until preferential rules are adopted.
• Importers must provide proof that goods were directly imported from the declared country of origin.
