Preferential trade between the EU and Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador: HS 2022 update.

The European Union has updated the annexes of the trade agreement with Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador to reflect the 2022 HS system. The changes, which will take effect on August 19, 2025, do not constitute significant alterations to the negotiated rules of origin.

Updates include changes to Annex II of the trade agreement.
Annexes 2, 2A, and 5 have been modified.
The legal basis for these changes is Decision No. 1/2025 of the Trade Committee.
The decision was made on June 19, 2025.
