On July 19, 2025, new EU regulations will come into effect regarding the import registration of certain polyethylene terephthalates ("PET") from Vietnam and a temporary anti-dumping duty on the import of molten aluminum oxide from China.

Regulation (EU) 2025/1427 of July 17, 2025, mandates the registration of PET imports from Vietnam.
Regulation (EU) 2025/1456 of July 17, 2025, imposes a temporary anti-dumping duty on molten aluminum oxide imports from the People's Republic of China.
A detailed list of goods subject to these trade policy measures is included in the mentioned regulations.
