The European Commission has published an executive regulation (EU) 2025/1727 on August 5, 2025, which suspends trade balancing measures on certain products from the United States and some products exported from the EU to the United States. This suspension affects Articles 1, 2, and 3 of the previous regulation (EU) 2025/1564.

Regulation (EU) 2025/1727 published in the Official Journal of the European Union on August 5, 2025.
The suspension of trade measures is effective from August 6, 2025.
The regulation will remain in force for six months as per Article 8 of Regulation (EU) No 182/2011.

The emergency procedure for the SENT system was activated on July 10, 2026, due to its unavailability from 12:50 PM to 5:00 PM.
