Temporary anti-dumping duties on the import of 1,4-butanediol and temporary duties imposed on the import of certain processed or preserved sweet corn in grain form

The European Commission has implemented temporary anti-dumping duties on the import of 1,4-butanediol and certain processed or preserved sweet corn in grain form from China, Saudi Arabia, and the USA. These measures are effective as of February 6 and February 7, 2026, respectively.

• Temporary anti-dumping duties on 1,4-butanediol from China, Saudi Arabia, and the USA were established on February 6, 2026.
• Final anti-dumping duties on certain processed or preserved sweet corn from China were established on February 7, 2026.
• The measures are based on the Commission's implementing regulations 2026/270 and 2026/276.
